Once upon a time a grade 2 listed building lay resting in the heart of Droitwich Spa. Until one day in 1997, this ‘sleeping beauty’ was awakened by Peter and Marie Jinks. They cast their magic upon the place and hey presto the Spinning Wheel was re-born. Since then it has remained a popular haunt not only for many locals, but also for visitors from far, far away...
During the day The Spinning Wheel offers a varied menu of hot & cold meals, snacks and beverages. Served up in a charming ‘tea shop’ style setting makes it a perfect starting point, pit stop or finishing post to your day.
As the evening approaches, the water turns to wine and The Spinning Wheel makes a smooth transition into a tasteful, Restaurant Wine Bar. The intimate surroundings and relaxed atmosphere play host to yet more great food and wide selections of alcoholic and thirst quenching pleasures for your choice.
“Pete”, is the perfect landlord and is always on hand to greet you with welcoming hospitality, friendly banter and an open palm!
“Marie”, single-handedly prepares, cooks and serves up excellent quality fresh food. The flavoursome meals and “value for money” sized portions brought to your table, are a credit to her Irish roots and guaranteed to satisfy your palate for sure.
The small team of friendly staff play their part well in providing excellent service. They are polite, accommodating and ready to pander to your every whim!
Weather permitting the Spinning Wheel also offers the option of alfresco dining where the same excellent service and hospitality is extended outside. |
